Lovely campsite, very peaceful and relaxed, lots of space. Excellent facilities, loved the camp kitchen with a kettle and fridge.

Lovely hot shower. All immaculately clean.

Melvyn and Alison were very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed the walks they recommended.

This small site has plenty of space between the pitches so you feel private. When I visited it was quiet and peaceful on the site. The facilities are top notch and kept spotless. The owners are friendly and thoughtful. A lovely place to stay. The kind of place I want to keep for myself, but thoroughly recommended.

This is the perfect campsite. In all my years of camping I have not come across a better one. Secluded, picturesque and peaceful – set out in a way that not only gives nature loving campers the experience they want but also gives nature a chance.

I don’t think I need to state the obvious but we will be back !

We were welcomed on arrival and shown around, which was really helpful.

The site is really quiet with pitches set far apart from each other.

The facilities are great – kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, pizza oven (sits on top of the fire pit), as well as toilets/showers.

Melvyn surprised our daughter with an Easter gift bag too, which was a lovely touch.

A lot to do in the area, or equally enjoyable to relax at the site.

These fabulous hosts also saved the day when we were out for the day and the wind unexpectedly got really gusty. They leapt into action and tied down our awning with their own rope and pegs as it was threatening to blow away. I don’t know of many other site owners who would do the same – so thanks so much for saving our belongings!

We look forward to coming back (in less windy weather!! )

We had a perfect 3 night stay at Birchwood sleeping in the amazing Bell Tent in the meadow field. We felt so welcomed to the site and the facilities were immaculate and had everything you’d need. It was wonderful to reconnect with nature watching the birds, listening to the owls and enjoying the beautiful views. It was the most relaxing weekend we have had camping and we will be back again!

Perfect for us. Peaceful, stunning views, immaculately clean, superb pitch and welcoming hosts.

We saw swallows nesting, bats and listened to owls at night. Wonderful.

Visited croft castle, berrington hall and tenbridge country show.

Would highly recommend.

Our highlights were toasting marshmallows on the campfire, listening to the owls, watching the swallows, running around the paths in bare feet, paddling in the stream.
