FAQs Useful information for your stay

Hopefully the FAQs below answers any questions you have about our campsite however if you have any other question or would like some more information please get in touch with us and we’ll happily let you know. 

Q. How do we find you?

We are fairly easy to find being approx. halfway through Hatfield Village, however there is more than one property on our postcode and therefore you may prefer to use

Q. Can we bring children?

Children are very welcome under five’s are Free. As well as exploring the farm, local facilities include: Muddy Puddles Adventure Trails & Farm Park, Leominster Sports Centre, Horse riding, Swimming, and even a go kart track just 9 miles away!

Q. Are pets welcome?

Unfortunately we have a no dogs policy due to the close proximity of livestock we have on site.

Q. Is there a campfire or firepit?

A fire pit is provided for each pitch, some of them you are able to cook on.

Q. Do you provide firewood?

Each stay of 3 nights or longer comes with complimentary firewood to get you started. Additional wood is available at £5.00 per bag. Charcoal is also available for those seeking the real camping experience.

Q. Is there an electricity hookup?

There are no electric hook up points however a charging point is available and a fridge and freezer in the food prep/washing up area at the top of the Meadow.

Q. Is there Wi-Fi Internet access?

Wi-fi is available at the farm house by arrangement.

Q. Is there mobile phone signal

There is excellent mobile phone coverage and we have 4G (EE) on site.

Q. Are there toilets and showers?

There are hot showers and flushing toilets at the top of the Meadow and gas shower and compost loo in the Quarry area.

Q. Where is the nearest pub?

Nearest pub is the Kings Head, Docklow, approx. 1.5 miles away.

Q. Where is the nearest town/shops?

The nearest market towns of Leominster, Bromyard and Tenbury Wells are all about 6 miles away.

They all have a range of shops to meet your requirements inc various supermarkets.

Q. Do you allow smoking on site?

We would prefer that you didn’t smoke on site and in particular no smoking is allowed in the communal areas or in the bell tents provided.

Q. Do you allow group bookings?

Large group bookings are not allowed, smaller groups may be allowed at our discretion and by prior arrangement.

Q. What is the Greener Camping club

In short it is a collection of small, quiet campsites in great locations that allow campfires and are gentle on the environment. The GCC is camping organisation committed to sustainable, responsible, eco-friendly camping with campsites that are all privately owned and managed and provide some of the most environmentally friendly, low impact recreational camping experiences in Wales and England. Q. What is the length of stay?

There is a minimum 3 night stay in respect of the Bell Tent and a 2 night minimum for camping /campervan pitches.

There is no maximum, however campers staying more than a week may be asked to move pitch in order to minimize grass damage.
